SomDej Wat BargKunProm, (Large Pim Design)
Also known as Pim Shung-Klong, (Wat RaKung but kept at Wat BargKunProm J.D.)
The material is Wat RaKung type of mixture but was introduced at Wat BarngKunPrum

Item ID#500                     $

SomDej Wat BargKunProm is much different from Wat Rakang and have different method of distinquiching the real one.  To look at SomDej Wat BargKunProm require strong knowledge of material and often the amulet are kept in the JD for too long and cause the material to manifest and expand to the point it is difficult to determin the pim. Also SomDej Wat BargKunProm are less in detail and the pim is not as pretty as Somdej Wat Rakang.

SomDej Wat RaKung, (Pim GateBoauToom)
Item ID#10                     $

Pim GhateBouToom is problebly one of the rarest of all Somdej Wat Rakang. Its possibly even more so than any other Pim.  I don't honestly know how many were made or how many people actually have this pim? I would have to say in my experience collecting Pra Somdej I have only seen this two and very few people who have collect Pra Somdej have see or have this particular pim, (a real one).  May be because I have five to seven serious collector as my sources.  And with their other sources that also make it possible for me to have such rare collection.

IMPORTANT TIPS YOU SHOULD KNOW, (FREE TIPS FOR YOUR BENEFIT)!!! THE MEANING OF THE DESIGN OF PIM GHATEBOU TOOM THAT YOU NEED TO KNOW AND KEEP IN MIND!!!!! Ghate,(The head dress on top of the buddha statue; THE SHARP POITY VERTICAL TIP) Bou,(Baby Lotus Flower) Toom,(Fat or Full) !! Keep in mind the meaning mentioned above! (1 VITAL NOTE TO REMEMBER) A real SomDej Wat Rakang, Pim GhateBou Toom should have the head dress, (GHATE) vertical line on top of the buddha head should looking like OR IN A SHAPE OF A BABY LOTUS FLOWER, (FAT ON THE BOTTOM AND HAVE A SHARPE POINTY TIP) AND THE POINTY TIP SHOULD NOT TOUCH THE ARK OR LINE ABOVE IT. IF THE GHATE IS SKINNY OR DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A FAT BABY LOTUS THEN IT IS MOSTLIKELY MADE FROM OR ORIGINATED FROM WAT BARNG KHUN PHROM.  IF THAT IS THE CASE THEN IT IS NOT ORIGINATED PROM WAT RAKANG.  VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW!!!! IT MIGHT ALSO BE FAKE. (2 VITAL NOTE TO REMEMBER) NOTICE! THE EXACT SHAPE OF THE BUDDHA HEAD, (THIS IS WHAT IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE IF MADE BY WAT RAKANG). THE SHAPE OF THE EARS OF THIS AMULET IS THE EXACT DESIGN OF WAT RAKUNG AS WELL, (REMEMBER THIS). IF THE SHAPE OF THE HEAD IS LONGATED OR IN ANY OTHER SHAPEED THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE IT IS ORIGINATED FROM WAT BHARNG KHUN PROM. (3 VITAL NOTE TO REMEMBER)NOTICE! THERE IS TWO VERY THIN LINES RUNNING SIDE WAY OR HORIZONTAL BETWEEN THE THICK LINES OF THE BASE. FROM YOUR PERSPECTIVE, THE LEFT EDGE AT THE TIP OF THE BOTTOM LINE SHOULD HAVE A SMALL MATERIL OR VERTICAL LINE LEADING VERTICALLY CONNECTING THE THIN LINE TO THE LARGER LINE OR BASE ABOVE IT. IF THE SMALL VERTICAL LINE OR MATERIAL CONNECTING THE LARGER LINE TO THE THINNER LINE IS NOT VISIBLE OR PRESENT IT IS LIKELY 99% FAKE AND SHOULD AVOID IT! (4 VITAL NOTE TO REMEMBER)NOTICE! THE OUTSIDE EDGE TOP LEFT CORNER OR EXTERNAL SIDE EDGE THERE IS A SMALL VISIBLE THIN LINE AND IT IS CALLED THIEN-BUNG-KUB.(5 VITAL NOTE TO REMEMBER)NOTE! THE ARK LINE OR  AN UPSIDEDOWN CUP SHAPE SURROUNDING THE BUDDHA SHOLD UPPEAR TO BE FOLDED ON THE INNER EDGE, INWARD AS IF RISING FROM THE SURFACE. (6 VITAL NOTE TO REMEMBER) FROM YOUR PERSPECTIVE! THE RIGHT EAR OF THE BUDDHA SHOULD BE TILTED/DROP AND SLICELY LOWER THAN THE LEFT SIDE AS YOU LOOKING DIRECTLY AT IT.

LP Ngern Pim Lhub-Lhor
Item ID#160                     $

The Pra LP Ngern that I have seen, including the one in an amulet books and Thailand amulet competition shows were often listed at a higher price and I've never seen one looked as nice or as authentic as this one. This LP Ngern is very high in detailed, and is what a real one should look like.  This one also shown its age with multiple rust, (rusted from steal aloy and is red colored, rusted from brass and is green colored, and natural aging process dark brown stain and rus caused from 100 of years being exposed to environment).  Everything in this website, they are original and posibly the best you can find and a true example of what a real one should look like.

Pha Loung Nung
Item ID#161                     $

This amulet is called sitting Pra Loung,(About 1 inch long). It is estimated about 800 to 1200 years old, (was created during the OHU_THONG civilization before modern Thailand)and hardly warn since. We can say it is from a lost civilization or pre Thailand period, (Ohu Thong period). This amulet and all that was made during this period were made from a rare type of lead,(rare mix of alloy) and extremely heavy. Unlike any other type of lead, this lead turned colored red when rust,(very unick feature). Most typical Par Loung are usually in a standing posture and about 4 to 5 inch long. Since the history of Thailand, they were well know and highly respected in the society of Buddha collecting, (for protection and bringing good omen). The reason may be the fact that it exist during the period and times when conflict and war were a way of life and people do wear such amulet in battle. Older generation often tell me and referred to amulets that are 100 years and older as having possess a higher spiritual power. May be because of the era they were in and monks who blesses them were more ordain and more spiritual,(Less distraction from the modern and worldly influence or needs). During this and similar period, people believes that Buddhist monk were also more focus and in tune with the spiritual being than they are now,(I don't know other way to say this in English). This particular PraLoung Nung, (Ohu Thong) is a rare and unusually beautiful Pim, (will be difficult to find another as beautiful as this one) and extremely good condition. However, many fake one are made to look alike and should take high precaution.
